Willow Springs Stables is located in beautiful Sugarcreek, Ohio, just 100 miles northeast of Columbus and 90 miles south of the Greater Cleveland area. We have developed a free exercise horse facility that accepts all ages and breeds. Willow Springs Stables offers the finest care for your horses. Our resident manager, farrier and staff are very experienced and will care for your horse as if it were their own. Our staff consists of individuals with more than 30 years combined experience with horses.
Willow Springs Stables has been carefully designed to provide the maximum safety and comfort for your horses. There are 12 open stall shelters, which can accommodate individual horses, mares and foals or stablemates per the owner's request. The facility features turnout buildings each opening into an individual fenced off one acre pasture for free choice grazing. Access to individual automatic watering troughs is also available in these 20x30 ft. insulated buildings.
In addition to the open stalls, there are also 16 individual box stalls opening into one large 30 acre pasture for free choice grazing.
All horses will be handled on a daily basis, to include, but not limited to: grain and hay twice daily, free choice grazing daily (weather permitting), access to individual self-watering systems, on-site vet care and farrier service as needed and agreed upon, and stall cleaning with fresh sawdust bedding provided daily. Grooming and exercise will be the sole responsibility of the horse owner.
Directions: From Interstate I-77 take Exit 83, Route 39 (Dover/Sugarcreek). Head West for 6 miles to County Road 46 / Ragersville Road. Head South for 4 miles until the 4-way stop in Ragersville. Turn left, go 2 miles to County Road 45/Evans Creek Road and turn left again. The stables will be on the left at 5453 Evans Creek Road, S.W., Sugarcreek, OH 44681.
