Big Muff ultimate alternative fuzz tone ala smashing pumpkins

Recording Tip:
Equipment
guitar:Fender Stratocaster
amp: Marshall JCM Slash(reissue of the silver jubilee series which were like custom JCM 800
The trick is either to plug in the low sensitivity input or to switch your 100 watt tube head like you can do on the JCM Slash.

Settings
TONE 5.5(a bit more than half)
SUSTAIN 10 Supreme Fuzz! But the more important knob is the volume knob...
VOLUME 4 but only if you want to get the siamese dream kind of sound...but this sound isn't exactly the same all thru the album:on the heaviest tracks like cherub rock, soma or silverf--k I would say that the volume knob must be at 6 or 7. On Quiet the tone is produced mostly by a Gibson SG I think because it's too loud for a strat even for one with Lace Sensor pickups on it. Adjust the volume knob often cause it's the only one which will help you finding your own sound. By the way Deftones fan should try putting it on 10 to reach the Be quiet and drive(far) sound.
