Equipment Description and Setup:
Marshall 78 800 head
Marshall 4x12 (or similar)
Ibanez Destroyer2 or Fender Lonestar Strat (double coil p-ups)
Ibanez Tube Screamer
Boss GE7 7 band EQ (optional)
Pre- Cranked, Master- 4ish, Presence3, Bass Cranked, Mid-2-3ish,Treble 5ish.
Tube screamer; All nobs north for slick rythm sound, you can use the EQ with the EQ bands at 0 and the level cranked to act as a volume boost and a bit more dirt. Boost the mids and highs if you want it to cut through more.
Crank the Dist. on the screamer for a lead stomp box. Not much vol. difference, but great sound. The Tube screamer is a Marshall slayer.
Thick, smooth, lots of sustain. Very warm with no ear bleeding but still pleanty of bite. GREAT harmonics, very legato sounds.
* As far as I'm concerned, the Tube Screamer is made for tube amps.
It sounds kinda medium on transistors.

Just my homepage for my duo and band. I use different setups for both, mail me if you want my 3 channel stack sounding duo setup. Great thick sound at low volumes.
