Equipment Description and Setup:
Guitar - Gibson Les Paul Custom
(white) used on standard tuned non tremelo songs, bent neck for detuning (ex. Crazy Train, I Don't Know).
Sandoval Polka Dot V, Dimarzio Super Distortion in Bridge, Dimarzio PAF in neck, Fender standard tremelo bridge. Used on standard tune songs with tremelo (ex. Mr. Crowley)
Jackson White with black pinstriped V. Duncan Distortion in Bridge, Duncan Jazz in the neck. Has Jackson own designed tremelo (I believe Jackson used Chandler). Used on songs tuned down 1/2 step (ex. Believer, Flying High Again).
Jackson Rhoads V, black with gold hardware. Replaced the Les Paul Custom, same pickup setup as white V. String-thru body, standard tuning. Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty 3 pickup. Used for last photo shoot. Also Ozzy mentioned Randy wrote Over the Mountain on this guitar, so this guitar may have been around for a while.
Amps - Marshall Super Lead Plexi's 100 watts, some in white tolex. Supposedly they were 'secretly' modified. Marshall 4x12 cabinets with Altec speakers.
Effects - Dunlop Crybaby, MXR Distortion +, MXR 10 band EQ, MXR Flanger, MXR Stereo Chorus, Korg Stage Echo (main delay unit), later Yamaha Analog Delay and Roland Space Echo were used also.
GHS 10( or 11)-46 strings, Fender Medium picks.
