Equipment Description and Setup:
Boyden Custom Tube Amp: 40W 2x12 combo. For blues settings: Clean - Input#1 Vol. just less than half Treb. 3, Mid 2-8, Bass 6, Timbre 5, Master 10, Blues (aggressive) Input#2 Pretty much the same except maybe back off the bass a bit and increase the timbre level. These settings are mostly for single coil pickup guitars (strat-tele etc.) p-90's may require a less intense setting (also humbuck). This recipe uses no outboard effects. 100w: Follow roughly the same formula only the addition of a larger 2x12 or 4x12 would be advisable. Great for clean settings and very aggressive when turned up!
