Equipment Description and Setup: Jackson Randy Rhoades "Flying V" With a Seymour Duncan "Duncan Distortion" in the Bridge and a "Duncan Jazz" in the neck. Peavy Tube Amps. Signal goes from guitar into Danelectro "Daddy-O" Overdrive pedal, into an MXR Distortion+ into the amp. Pedal board with a Volume Pedal, Cry Baby Wah, MXR 10 band EQ, MXR Phase 90, MXR Flanger, and Danelectro "Dan-Echo" Echo pedal run through the effects loop. There is also a Channel switcher on the pedal board. The on- board EQ has a scooped Mid while the Out-Board EQ has a boosted mid and cut bass. Vanilla Treble. The Crybaby Wah is used as an Envelope filter for non distorted effects. The Dan-Echo is a very versatile pedal ranging from spacy echos to tight concert lead work. The Phase 90 is great for subtle effects, and the Flanger gives a very dramatic effect good for the final chorus of songs or dramatic parts of the show. The Danelectro Overdrive and the MXR Distortion+ are both wery warm and natural sounding distortions and are capable of monstrous tone.
