Digitech / GSP-21 Series Effects Processors

69 Marshall

Devices Used:
Digitech 21 legend / Digitech ISP 33 Thru a Marshall 50Watt 800 MkII (w/el-34's) and a HM Strat w/Humbucker on Bridge.

Sound Description:
This setting is warm and buttery with the right amount of compression and breakup of an old 50 watt marshall. With all the stuff I use this is my favorite patch. Great for rhythm and solo. Sounds just like Steve or Peter from Humble Pie in the late 60's early 70's.

Settings:
Compress on, comp. amt=4, comp. lvl=6, Distortion on, dist. type=overdrive, dist. bls=6.3, Graphic EQ on, (7 band low to high) +11, +11, +8, +2, -3, 0, -6, Master Volume +10, Enhancement=2, Noise Gate on, noise gate threshold=3, Delay on, delay in dry=7, delay time=.330 sec., delay feedback=10%, Reverb type=rv2, reverb in dry=6, reverb in delay=3, reverb pre delay=19m, reverb filter=warm, reverb decay=2.71 sec, Dry level=9, Delay right Level=7, Delay Left Level=7, Reverb Right Level=6, Reverb Left Level=6.

Marshall Amp about; bass=9, mid=8, treb=4, pres=4, preamp in just at clip on a clean signal.

Eddie Van Halen

Devices Used:
Digitech 21 legend / Digitech ISP 33 Thru a Marshall 50Watt 800 MkII (w/el-34's) and a HM Strat w/Humbucker on Bridge.

Sound Description:
This setting is hot, bright, with the right amount of modulation. One of my favorites. If you have an old Phase 90 or a 4-stage phaser for the front end, even better. Sounds pretty close to his four-holer.

Settings:
Compress on, comp. amt=12, comp. lvl=7, Distortion on, dist. type=overdrive, dist. bls=11, Graphic EQ on, (7 band low to high) +12, +10, +7, -10, -5, -3, -11, Master Volume +10, Enhancement=2, Noise Gate on, noise gate threshold=3, Effects loop=in line (looped to a pitch shift [IPS 33] detune about -9 cents left / + 11 cents right)(use the chorus if you don't have a pitch shift), Delay on, delay in dry=7, delay time=.350 sec., delay feedback=20%, Reverb type=rv2, reverb in dry=6, reverb in delay=3, reverb pre delay=19m, reverb filter=warm, reverb decay=2.7 sec, Dry level=10, Delay right Level=8, Delay Left Level=8, Reverb Right Level=5, Reverb Left Level=5.

Marshall Amp about; bass=9, mid=8, treb=4, pres=4, preamp in just at clip on a clean signal.
