Classic 60's + 70's Rock
Devices Used:
1972 Gibson Les Paul Custom or Stratocaster, ibanez TS-10 tube screamer, Dunlop Crybaby wah-wah, 80's reissue Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face, Uni-vibe, DOD Corosion, Marshall JCM 800 Lead Series 50 watt combo
Sound Description:
Can achieve many different sounds which vary from early and recent Jeff Beck tones, classic Yardbirds, Page , Hendrix (w/ fuzz face + Uni-vibe), and SRV( using the TS-10 and Fuzzface as a boost in songs like "leave my girl alone" and in the live version "tightrope"), and the awsome Randy Rhodes!!
Settings:
The order in which i use is a Les Paul, into a Ibanez TS-10 tube screamer, ,Crybaby wah wah, Fuzz Face, Uni-vibe , DOD corosion, then into a Marshall JCM 800 50 watt combo IN THAT ORDER! starting with the Tube screamer, i have the distortion on about 3:00, the tone on about 1:00, and the volume on about 2:00. On my precious Fuzzface, i have the fuzz up all the way and the volume on at about 12:00. U can use this for a thick marshall boost for solos. On the Unvibe, i have the intensity on about 3:00, the volume on at 3:00, and the intensity on at around 10:00 (Thanks to Eric...).On the DOD corosion pedal ( which is thought to be a crappy pedal) i have the volume on about 3:00, the bottom off and the top on about 12:00, and the distortion is YOUR CHOICE depending on what u need it for. Finally... the Marshall which i love because it sounds so great! I use the normal channel because i think the boost channel is a bit too rusty. I have the volume, bass, and treble up all the way and the master Volume( which can really crank) around 3 for playing with a band.
