Warm Wah Lead
Devices Used:
Roland EV-5 expression pedal & Boss ME-8 straight into a recording system such as a 4-track tape deck or PC. Guitar used is an old Chavel with Jackson humbucker at the bridge.
Sound Description:
Sound: Nice warm distorted lead sound without being beaten over the head with tones of wah.
Uses: Works fine for single lead guitar, and sounds great layered 3-4 times for harmonies. Your milage will vary, but I use this over everything from acoustic guitars to Metallica-esque rhythms.
Notes: These settings are rigged for recording (where bass & echo et al stand out more). Adjust for live usage!
